Fue co-producido por Ryan Greene, Joey Cape (cantante de Lagwagon), Angus Cooke (The Ataris) y Ken Stringfellow (guitarrista de Lagwagon), y distribuido por Fat Wreck Chords. Es el primer disco de la banda con sus nuevos componentes Ken Stringfellow y Dave Raun, que entraron para sustituir a Shawn Dewey y Derrick Plourde respectivamente.

Foo Fighters es una banda de Rock formada en la ciudad Seattle, Washington en el año 1994 por Dave Grohl, ex baterista de Nirvana y Scream. El grupo debe su nombre a los ovnis y los diversos fenómenos aéreos que fueron reportados por los pilotos de los aviones aliados en la Segunda Guerra Mundial, que se conocen colectivamente como Foo Fighters.
