The final cut es el duodécimo álbum de Pink Floyd. Se lanzó en 1983. Se trata de un álbum conceptual y es el último de la banda en contar con la participación de Roger Waters, quien aparece acreditado como compositor y letrista de todas las canciones del disco. La mayoría de ellas cuentan con la voz de Waters como vocalista principal; el guitarrista líder David Gilmour aporta su voz a sólo una de las doce canciones del disco, Not now John.
